I believe in love.

Love that lifts and encourages, that ennobles and strengthens.
Love that creates beauty.
Love that rescues.
Love that redeems whatever the cost.
A love that descends into darkness and despair and lifts us to the light.
A love that provides. A love that heals.
I believe in a love that never gives up, that ‘reaches our reaching’ and that seeks what is lost in us.
A love that fills what is missing and mends what is broken.
Love that meets us where we are, but sees so much more for us-potential and promise.
And invites us to take that journey to promise. But not alone.
Because…Jesus.
And what shall we give in return for so much?
Loyalty.
Devotion.
Heart, might, mind, strength.
In other words, love.
Love that trusts and believes.
Love that motivates above every other force and pull.
Love that returns again and again and again.
Love that desires to emulate, to learn, to reciprocate.
Love that sees and hears and follows.
A love that invites Him in, to walk with us.
A love that is becoming, little by little, more like that perfect love.
